Here is a video that covers almost all the reasons why I love Kauai! Truly spectacular views! It is one of the most gorgeous places on earth. Particularly the North Shore. If you have not been, you need to go as soon as possible. They have some of the best vacation properties around. Take a look at Kauai Vacation Rentals. They have a great Facebook page.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Nothing is better than a tropical getaway and spending some time having fun in the sun! I heard Kauai Vacation Rentals has great deals; I should really give them a try planning my next trip!

@demonicBerith Mine didn’t have doors either, maybe it was just a different company. Glad you had fun though.

  9. demonicBerith says:

@Imakeplanesboom I did the Doors off helicopter ride so there wasn’t an option for 3 hours, all I Wanted was pictures, and Doors on helicopters give lots of glare, but for the average person doors on is good.

  10. Imakeplanesboom says:

@demonicBerith Mine was like 3 hours and we stopped at a waterfall and had lunch.

    Very cool….

The helicopter sequence is stunning. Great song too.

  13. demonicBerith says:

@dinomagic like anywhere from $150 bucks a person to like $250 per person, most of the rides are about an hour long or less.

  14. demonicBerith says:

@RobertPettifer videos are where its at, photographs are something you do when you have a abundance of time, not when you have less than an hour to get around the whole island and spend like 250 bucks and come back with 20 photos, when you could have like 50 minutes of video.

  15. RobertPettifer says:

Excellent video, I did a similar tour with inter-island a few years ago. I think they are about $250 per person. Doors off makes taking photographs so much easier. Thanks for posting

we were there in january 2011 taking this same trip but our video does not do this gorgous paradse justice, your does. thank you for this video :)

  17. dinomagic says:

How much is a helicopter ride like this???

  18. RedroomStudios says:

@newtothelight fantastic, glad to be of help! enjoy the ride, it is mind blowing!

  19. Ritsel12727 says:

Thanks for Bob Forrest! New for me!

  20. newtothelight says:

@RedroomStudios Thank you for the reply. I was seriously looking at Jack Harter so this just helped me make my decision. Thanks again for the advice, it is greatly appreciated.

  21. RedroomStudios says:

@newtothelight pretty much all the helicopter companies on the island offer very similar tours and show you all these same views. When we were there we chose Jack Harter because they offered helicopters with no doors or glass enclosing the passenger area which was great for taking photos and not having to worry about glare or reflection looking through glass. And of course being in the open air made the ride even that much more thrilling! Most exciting thing I have ever done in my life…

Somebody worked hard making this video, it’s awesome! They didn’t think out the music to well. All that beauty matched up with that depressing song?

  25. BuckForester says:

    Stunning!
